Oceanic: 25 years of development and innovation

Bob Hollis' fascination with the ocean gave birth to Oceanic, a maker of camera housings, strobes and other underwater photo accessories. After 25 years, Oceanic has become a source of a full line of diving equipment, with a European facility, seven affiliates abroad and four sister companies.

A rare gathering

A banquet was held in honor of scuba diving pioneers Hans and Lottie Hass in Santa Barbara, CA, in Sep 1998 sponsored by the Historical Diving Society USA. Such events are unique and should be cherished because of the opportunity to know and meet scuba diving stars and pioneers.
