Oscar night for divers - the 1998 NOGI Awards

The Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences held the 1998 NOGI Awards in New Orleans, LA, in conjunction with the DEMA trade show. Wyland won in the Arts category for his wonderful marine paintings, sculptures and murals. Dr. Richard Murphy received the Education Award for his contributions to ocean environmental studies.
