The Swell Shark, Cephaloscyllium ventriosum, belongs tothe family of the Carcharhiniformes or Ground Sharks. It is a 'harmless' creature that grows to a maximum length of three feet and can be found docile in rockycrevices. However, like other animals it also bites when provoked.

The Blacktip Reef shark, Carcharhinus melanopterus, is a voracious predator that often looks for food in coral reefs. It is grayish to yellow in color and have black tips on its dorsal, pectoral and caudal fins.

The Shortfin Mako is probably the fastest of all sharks and can leap as high as 18 feet out of the water. Their incredible speed allows them to catch and feed on billfishes, especially swordfish.
