Shore dive gone bad

Article Abstract:

A man learned three things from a scuba diving trip with his wife and friend, which turned into a disaster. Divers should be accompanied by an experienced divemaster when diving in a new environment. They should be acquainted with their equipment and should not go on with a dive trip if they feel uncomfortable about it.

A list of New Year's resolutions was derived from the most common answers given in an informal survey conducted among California divers. Trying new dive sites, learning new skills, encouraging novices, making diving a family affair and updating equipment are some of the most common resolutions.
