Bottle collecting

Underwater bottle collecting is a new activity that many divers engage in to help rid the world's waters of trash. However, not all bottles lying at the bottom of the ocean are trash. Some are considered artifacts and are protected by the Archaeological Protection Act of 1979.

West Coast Lobster Hunting

The increase in commercial lobster fishing has led to newrules governing lobster hunting. During lobster hunting season, lobsters can betrapped provided that the trappers are above 16 and licensed and that lobsters must be taken by hand and be at least 3 1/4 inches in length.
