The deep diving/nitrox perspective

It is the individual right of any scuba diver to undertake deep diving and nitrox diving activities. Divers who engage in such scuba diving pursuits should refrain from impinging upon the rights of other responsible recreational divers by promoting such activities without adequate training and due concern to safety.

The 1992 Responsible Diver Campaign is a collective effort of the diving community. Divers, diving companies, certifying agencies, dive resorts, diving doctors, travel operators, scientists, and media people all helped ito create the campaign's safety messages.
