The eagle has landed: El Aguila is Roatan's newest wreck
Article Abstract:
Anthony's Key Resort (AKR) in Roatan purchased and sank the 220 foot by 36 foot El Aguila which ran aground in 1989. AKR claims an exclusive dive schedule from 8:30 to 9:30 in the morning though other dive operations could visit the site at a small fee for the maintenance of Sandy Bay Marine Park.
