Article Abstract:

Neil Keen knew that in order to become a high-caliber racer, he needed his own tuner, which would allow him to concentrate fully on the track and Dennis Mahan, 18 years old had a reputation as a brilliant engine developer and master mechanic. The pair became one of the most successful rider-and-tuner combinations ever.

RD days

Article Abstract:

The two-stroke Yamaha RD350 motorcycle, introduced in 1973, was an evolution of the 1970 R5. The RD350 was followed in 1976 by the RD400C and in 1998 by the RD400F, the last true RD model.
