A movement to privatize public land is growing, and it could leave hunters and fishermen with...no place whatsoever

Article Abstract:

A proposal to return federal land to states, with the exception of military bases, has caught much fire from outdoorspeople, miners and loggers, and other industries that rely on income from federal lands. Turning public land over to states would likely lead to the sale of the land, which would affect the activities of those who oppose the action, because private owners would restrict their activities.
