A tale of two slices

Article Abstract:

Instruction for how to correct the two most common types of slices is presented. The most common slice, known as the reverse pivot, is produced as a result of a poor set-up. The other type of slice, known as the laid-off, results from poor posture, usually the body is too erect.

Hit the slopes

The other tilt

A spine tilt in which the upper body leans away from the target is a key element of a successful swing. A common mistake is to lean the upper spine toward the target at address.
