UK and US lawyers are competing fiercely in Asia as Asian companies becoming increasingly interested in raising funds on western capital markets. Law firms which are seeking to develop viable regional strategies must make extensive investment in creating a local profile, and must also set up US qualified securities teams which will rapidly gain respect. US law firms are at an advantage over the UK counterparts, as US capital markets law predominates in Asia. However, UK law firms have generally better regarded China practices.

Article Abstract:
The Scarborough Millenium attraction, which was recently opened by amusement caterer Henry Marshall, was designed by Alan Robertson, head of Leisure Solutions of York. The attraction tell the town's history using three-dimensional scenes with very unusual special effects, and some of the 23 staff wear period costume. It is divided into 10 segments of 100 years, with more emphasis being given to the most interesting times in the town's history. Robertson's other design work is also considered.

Thailand's Phang Nga Bay has 160 islands and is a complex of caves, the beach is framed by jungled limestone cliffs, and a spike-shaped pinnacle guarding an emerald bay. It provides excellent sailing, the beauty of the island is breathtaking and it offers a variety of seafood along with snorkeling/diving and exploring.
