Training-induced sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca(super 2+) unloading occurs without Ca(super 2+) influx
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine whether Ca(super 2+) influx is necessary to elicit sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) Ca(super 2+) unloading. It is concluded that in coronary smooth muscle from male swine, Ca(super 2+) influx is not necessary for the exercise training-induced phenomenon, SR Ca(super 2 +) unloading.
