Inflicted incision of the penis

Article Abstract:

Abusive injuries involving female genitalia are well-documented and discussed in child abuse literature compared to those involving male genitalia. The text on male child sexual abuse also reveal low incidence of inflicted penis injury. However, the cases cited and the description of the injuries should be used as a guide in the investigation for child abuse. Some of the incidence did not involve injury outside the genital area which may mislead investigation to conclude that it is normal injury.

Undersea excavations of the Mid-Pacific Mountains conducted by the JOIDES Resolution drilling vessel provide evidence that a volcanic superplume overwhelmed the region during the mid-Cretaceous period. Beneath the basalts and other superplume matter lies a crust that dates to the Jurassic period.
