Article Abstract:

Steel shot can be used as effectively as lead shot whether hunting waterfowl or shooting at skeet targets. Previous attitudes toward the use of steel have been changing recently. The environmental aspects of using steel instead of lead are addressed.

Twenty-one types of ammunition for .22-caliber rifles were evaluated to determine how effective Federal Cartridge's Gold Medal Ultra-Match ammunition truly was. It ranked fourth, while the Fiocchi Rifle 320 ammunition received top marks.
