BMW R1100S

Article Abstract:

A BMW R1100S motorcycle logged 15,282 miles during its eight-month stint as the daily vehicle of 'Cycle World' staffers. The motorbike broke in after 4,000 miles and gave more power after an additional 11,000 miles. The only problem encountered was with the rear drive.

Both Kawasaki ZRX1100 and Suzuki Bandit 1200s motorcycles have 16-valve twin cams, 36mm carburetors and 4-into-1 exhaust systems. Both also carry five gallons of fuel and have top speed of 143 mph. The Kawasaki ZRX1100 and the Suzuki Bandit 1200s are priced at $7,199.
