Snowboarding is one of the fastest-growing winter sports today and there is a move to put it under the control of a single sanctioning body. Some snowboarders resist the idea of being connected with skiing authorities but others, including top-ranked snowboarder Mike Jacoby, believe that snowboarding and skiing should work together.
