Brush stroke: to hit a high, soft pitch shot, brush the grass with the bottom of the club

Article Abstract:

Golfers should hit a high shot rather than a chip shot or a putt when the ball is about 20 yards from the pin. This shot, which is achieved by brushing the bottom of the club against the grass, causes the ball to roll very little and land near the pin.
