Advice and information on the availability of recreational trout fishing in New Mexico during April and May are presented. The best places and tactics for catching large numbers of rainbow, cutbow and brown trout are suggested.

Building the biggest bass

Article Abstract:

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Dept's (TPWD) ShareLunker is a program to produce larger bass. Fishers contribute bass to the TPWD, which encourages the fish to spawn at state hatcheries. The bass are then returned to the fishers.

May is the month for Sam Rayburn bass

It is possible to catch large numbers of bass in the Sam Rayburn Reservoir in Texas during May. It is quite common to catch base weighing between 3 pounds and 4 pounds.
