Elk hunting late in the hunting season can be difficult because of winter weather conditions, but it can also be a good time to successfully hunt an elk. The animals tend to stay together and bed down much of the day to save energy. They also move to lower elevations in search of food.

Easier ways for elk

Article Abstract:

Advice is presented by a hunter on how to make elk hunting physically less arduous. Ways are suggested of finding elk at lower elevations and in less remote areas. Elk are large animals and a sensible plan is necessary to deal with the carcass.
