Calling all calcium: salt can curb preteen bone building

Article Abstract:

Good skeleton development during preteen years is critical. Dietary factors can greatly effect bone growth at this crucial time. Researchers have found that girls who have a high intake of sodium excrete high levels of calcium in their urine. Calcium eating levels of 1,500 mg might offset this loss.

To permanently lose weight, it is necessary to identify and change the foods, behaviors, situations and moods that trigger the loss of control over food. The sum total of these triggers is what causes people to repeatedly regain weight lost though dieting.
