Case of the haywire immune system

Article Abstract:

Lupus in dogs can be difficult to diagnose, but it is curable with prednisone, a short-acting cortisone. A 16-year-old Welsh corgi named 'Mac' was misdiagnosed with an infection, until a veterinarian correctly suspected that lupus was the cause and administered correct treatment.
