Chute suite: four moves to help you orchestrate great runs in extreme terrain

Article Abstract:

Skiers should use short-radius turns when skiing in narrow chutes with deep powder. They should uses a pedal-turn and airplane-turn combination when skiing over a rock and into a chute. Techniques for entering a cornice and skiing the Extra Chute in Squaw Valley are described.
