There are software compatibility problems and several standards setting organizations that need to establish a single standard record system.

The Bodleian Library in Oxford requires readers of pornographic works to make a special application and then read the book in the Duke Humphrey's Library. Early members of the PHI category (classification of pornographic works) include Oscar Wilde, Balzac and an abundance of translated works including Chinese and Arabic literature. In the 1970s, a 'Which?' report on contraceptives was also catalogued as PHI.

There are ways to maintain one's bearings while day-hiking away from the main camp and visibility drops to nearly nothing. It is imperative to prepare before getting caught in any kind of bad weather. Looking at a map when stopping for a rest is also effective. And, always be aware of the weather conditions.
