Don't be fuelish; how to reduce cooking time, cut your pack weight, and use less stove fuel without sacrificing good taste

Article Abstract:

Backpackers can cut down on the amount of fuel they need by using simple tricks to improve stove efficiency like using a wraparound windscreen. Bringing quick-cook meals also reduces the need for fuel. Recipes presented include curried rice and cheesy couscous.
