Ducati 999: Superbike sojourn

Article Abstract:

The long-term test performance of the Ducati 999 found that it is more comfortable than its predecessors, even with adjustable footpegs set in their highest position. The new bike priced at $17,695 features a liquid-cooled, four stroke V-Twin engine, 998cc displacement, 54.7 inches wheelbase and fuel capacity 4.1 gal.

The 'Ducati Multistrada 1000S' conceived as a multifaceted bike has proved to be highly versatile. Most of the bike's shortcomings like the lack of wind protection and degree of helmet buffeting are addressed along the revised version for the year 2005.
