Effects of 4-wk training using V(max)/T(max) on VO(2max) and performance in athletes

Article Abstract:

Peak oxygen consumption, velocity and endurance time are important components in developing appropriate exercise programs for elite athletes. A four-week treadmill-based training program for middle-distance male runners demonstrated the effectiveness of these components when used in ratios which can be adjusted according to the different needs of each athlete.
