Women with a family history of breast cancer reduced their risk of cancer 80% by taking large doses of vitamin E, in a recent study. Megadoses will not be recommended until the benefits are confirmed, but a daily dose of vitamin E in spinach, sunflower seeds or whole grains is recommended.

Diabetes in the dust

Article Abstract:

A study of 944 men revealed that men with the lowest levels of vitamin E in their blood were four times more likely to develop diabetes than men with the highest levels of vitamin E in their blood. More research is needed to ascertain the connection between vitamin E and diabetes.
