Angie and Bimbo West of Leesville, LA, have been devoted to raising and training hunting dogs since they got married 18 years ago. They also judge competitions of the Hunting Retriever Club. They feel that training dogs is a constant endeavor.

Bird dogs and bobwhites
Article Abstract:
Bird hunting is an aggressive sport in south Texas and requires a dog specially trained for the area. The weather conditions make finding scents difficult, but the temperature and cover provide an extended nesting season for bobwhites.
