For better doubles, play "10-second tennis." (tennis lessons from the book 'Vic Braden's Laugh and Win at Doubles)

Article Abstract:

Tennis players cannot improve their performance in doubles competitions as long as they use the traditional one-up and one-back system. Instead, they should use an innovative playing system, dubbed '10-second tennis,' which emphasizes active movement on court by both players.
