From 'average' to athlete

A 52-year-old man recounts how his wife's win of a bicycle in a raffle changed his life. His doctors had warned him about his weight and unhealthy lifestyle but he had not reformed. He describes how bicycling helped him shed 35 pounds. Eventually he rode 100 miles in a race in five hours and 10 min.

A woman who was hit by a car in an accident which also killed her husband describes how she recovered both physically and emotionally, with the help of ballroom dancing. It not only got her started on a social life again but it also got her starting to exercise.
