Marathon masonry: Laura Mason debuted with a "less-is-better" approach - and it worked

Mason prepared for her first marathon through a training program in which she ran only once a day, 60 to 70 miles per week. She went only on a few runs that were two hours long, but she still won her first marathon and set a new course record.

The Finland Run, or Suomi Juoksee, is a cross-country relay. Participants have the opportunity to see the entire country, along with a traditional stop in a Lapp village. One runner and journalist's experience is recounted.
