Futile attraction?

Article Abstract:

An increasing number of tennis players are resorting to magnets to relieve their pain. A number of them claim that the pain is eliminated. The theory is that magnets increase blood flow in the area and help reduce inflammation. However, some doctors are still unconvinced.

The author used to select running shoes based on which ones might make him go faster, or on improperly self-diagnosed injuries. He now looks for a shoe that complements the way he runs, not for a shoe that will change it.
