GI coverup: preventive use of antacids may mask medication's risks

Article Abstract:

Taking antacids with nonsteroidal antiinflamatory drugs (NSAIDS), as many physicians recommend, may do more harm than good. People who suffer from no NSAID-related side effects, but take antacids with NSAIDS anyway, have a greater risk of stomach-related hospitalizations than people who take NSAIDs alone.

Night shift: exercise helps vessels around the clock

Article Abstract:

Research indicates that exercise helps regulate the body's clot-regulating system - the fibrinolytic system - even as one sleeps. People who walk, run or bike can dissolve blood clots faster, and better prevent their recurrence, than those who stretch but do not exercise.

Black-tea benefits: even the basic brew could counter cancer
