How to swing your own compass

Article Abstract:

Easy steps for using a compass to obtain the correct boat bearing and heading are provided. A deviation table would also be helpful since such methods will not be able to remove all deviation. Professional adjusters should be called upon if significant deviation still results from such procedures.
