Influence of low and high dietary fat on physical performance in untrained males

Article Abstract:

The intake of dietary fat appears to not affect performance of untrained males in aerobic exercise. Fourteen healthy sedentary males were given either high- or low-fat diets and performed aerobic exercise regularly over a 4-week period; yet neither group performed significantly differently than the other. The quality of energy substrate from food does not affect aerobic performance.
