Inter 20, built by Performance Sailcraft, was one of the winners of the 1999 Boat of the Year Awards, under the multihull category. The boat was chosen over two other outstanding boats, Laser Cat and WindRider Rave, because of its overall excellent performance, race-ability and high-quality designs.

The 29er, built by Canadian firm Byte Boats, was one the winners of the 1999 Boat of the Year Awards. The user-friendly boat won best Performance One-Design and Overall Boat of the Year. The boat's skiff designs can propel it 1.3 times faster than true wind-speed.
