Jousting with the Gladiateur 999: the French do a Triumph

Article Abstract:

French motorcycle dealer Thierry Henriette has developed the Gladiateur 999, a new motorcycle based on the design of the 998cc Triumph Four that is powered with a 900cc Triumph Triple engine and a rear suspension similar to the Daytona 1000. The motorcycle weighs 452 lbs. and has a 58.3-inch wheelbase.

Ducati to unveil all-new superbike

Article Abstract:

Ducati will introduce the 916 Superbike at the 1992 International Motorcycle Federation show. The company plans to race the bike in the 1993 World Endurance Championship and offer it as a replacement for the 851 line after it has been tested.
