Knee-deep trouble

Article Abstract:

Sportsmen commonly suffer knee injuries because of the physical activity needed to perform their activities. Basic treatment of any knee injury is rest, ice, compression and elevation. Symptoms of damage to ligaments and tendons are described.

Several techniques for purifying water for drinking are discussed, including decanting, coagulating, boiling and filtration. Water with high concentrations of halogens can be improved by filtering or flavoring the water.

Muscle cramps and tears in the shoulder or Achilles tendon are common injuries suffered by hunters because of the physical exertion that is involved. The three grades of injuries and treatments for them are described.
