The 2006 Super Glide manufactured by Harley-Davidson is compared with the original 1971 Super Glide on a journey from New England to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, which is more than just a test of the new machine but an account of the history of Harley-Davidson. The new 2006 Super Glide has six-speed transmission and better braking technology than its 1971 predecessor.
