Malta-Gibraltar

Francesco Casoli's Swan 59 beat Ian Kennedy's Swan 53 to win the Europa 92 race/rally. The 22,000-mile race began in Gibraltar and went eastward around the world. The route of the final leg was from Malta to Gibraltar.

Bermuda Race Week

A fleet of 103 boats competed in the 1993 Bermuda International Race Week. Tim Patton won the Etchells 22 class, Bill Shore won the IOD class and Glen Astwood won the Tornado class.
