The National Park Service is using a natural regulation policy for the management of Yellowstone Park and other national parks. Natural regulation represents a hands-off policy that eschews tough decisions due to political considerations and is ruining the parks.

The Yellowstone River, which is one the the United States' great rivers, is described with emphasis on its many attractions including fishing. The Yellowstone runs for 600 miles and is the longest undammed river in the lower 48 states.
