Patching up: testosterone patch bolsters cognition

Article Abstract:

Sixty men aged 60 to 75, all healthy, participated in a study measuring spatial cognition. The men who wore a testosterone patch had improved cognition, but researchers are concerned that testosterone may cause an increased risk of prostate cancer.

Aspirin power

Article Abstract:

Aspirin use has been shown to reduce the risk of developing colon cancer by as much as 50%. Physicians speculate that aspirin may slow down the development of adenomas, which are polyps that can lead to colon cancer.
