Paul's clinic

Article Abstract:

Tennis is a territorial game and the players dictate the action either from the baseline or net are the ones who generally determine the outcome of matches and have success and in order to do that one must have control over the center of the court. The size of the area to control expands along with ability the closer the shots have to be to the lines and when one becomes skilled at controlling the center of the court it is possible to win or lose matches on one's terms, which is the ultimate goal of any player.

Paul's clinic: Attacking a two-handed backhand

Article Abstract:

Hitting the backhand with two hands instead of one has been preferred style of both the pro and recreational levels. The players should be taught to use two-handed backhand for service returns and topspin drives, but still be adept at the one-handed slice for variety, defense and volleying but most players rely on one style over the other and accept the limitations.
