Physical activity in older, rural, Hispanic, and non-Hispanic white adults

Article Abstract:

A study was carried out to describe the age-related change in physical activity in 903 rural Hispanic and non-Hispanic white adults age 55-80. Conclusions reveal that the most common activities are similar to other adults, both recreational and productive activities contributed to total activity and physical activity decreased in all gender-ethnic subgroups with age.

Effectiveness of aerobic exercise in adults living with HIV/AIDS: Systematic review

Article Abstract:

The effectiveness and safety of aerobic exercise interventions on virological, cardiopulmonary and psychological outcomes in adults suffering from AIDS is examined. Performing aerobic exercise and progressive resistive exercise is beneficial and safe for adults suffering from AIDS.

Anginal threshold between stress tests: Exercise versus dobutamine stress echocardiography

Article Abstract:

The study aims to compare the ischemic threshold between exercise testing (EX) and dobutamine echocardiography (DOB). This study shows that estimation of anginal threshold during DOB is feasible and is slightly higher than during EX.
