Some plant substances provide resistance to certain diseases including cancers, high blood pressure and ulcers. These phytochemicals can be gotten from eating whole foods including flaxseed, cabbage, celery, hot peppers, kale, lemons, onions, soybeans, strawberries, tomatoes, and watercress.
