Pick that tick: learn how to remove this bloodsucking parasite before trouble begins

Article Abstract:

Ticks should be removed as soon as they are discovered to prevent tick-borne diseases. Removal should be done with fine-point tweezers rather than other methods, such as burning it with a match, smothering it with petroleum jelly and crushing the tick. Infection is more likely to occur with these other methods.
