Preserve hunting: is it sporting, or a challenge to the ideal of fair chase?

Some hunters believe that hunting animals that live on preserves is fair because animals that live on preserves learn how to hide and survive in those surroundings. Others believe that preserves do not adequately satisfy the urge to hunt.

Issues concerning techniques of hunting white tails are discussed. Particular attention is given to sent-full laundry which may attract white-tails. The necessity for hunters to be sent-free is emphasized in view of their safety.

Creating a honey hole

Issues are presented concerning the creating of an area which is attractive to white-tailed deer. The pruning of vegetation and use of fertilizers to increase the productivity of the area are discussed.
