Pulmonary hemodynamics during a strenuous intermittent exercise in healthy subjects

Article Abstract:

The study has reported on the pulmonary hemodynamic behavior during interval exercise in healthy subjects to note the normal pulmonary vascular response to an intermittent work exercise test (IWET). The result suggested that during IWET, pulmonary arterial pressure (PAP), which increases initially, does not increase further though high-intensity exercise bouts could have increased the pulmonary pressures higher.

Intermittent exercise test in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients: How do the pulmonary hemodynamics

Article Abstract:

The pulmonary hemodynamics adaptation during a high-intensity intermittent exercise in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is investigated. The high-intensity 1-min bouts of work of intermittent work exercise are well tolerated without pushing the pulmonary arterial pressure dramatically high in COPD patient.

Eccentric cycle exercise: Training application of specific circulatory adjustments

Article Abstract:

The specific circulatory adjustments namely heart rate (HR) and stroke volume, to eccentric (ECC) cycle exercise is described. This determined the respective HR values leading to identical VO2 in ECC concentric cycling and also estimated the interindividual variability of the HR correspondence between both exercise modes.
