R32: the world's oldest beemer rides again

Article Abstract:

Irv Seaver BMW has the oldest BMW motorcycle in the world, an R32, at its showroom in Orange, CA. BMW made only 3090 R32 units in 1923 using the design of Max Fritz. The 76-year-old bike already had a shaft drive, twin boxer engine, single-plate clutch and a fully-enclosed ring and pinion.
