Electa Johnson who died on 19 November 2004 was considered as one of the most influential women in sailing. Electa Johnson also called as Exy, together with her husband, Irving, sailed around the world seven times on their yacht, Yankee, and they have brought the joy of cruising to the thousands of young people who accompanied them over the years.
